I’m going to be traveling to Washington D.C at the end of the month - the start of June to visit family. For anyone who’s lived or been around there are there any really interesting lesser known places or things a tourist normally won’t see to check out? Parks, museums, restaurants, things that are sort of part of daily life around the city. I’ll be there for about two weeks and have most mornings to burn on my own. Anything is welcome just looking for ways to spend my time and get to know Washington D.C.
