Are there cell phone plans available in the US that would allow me to pay up-front for x number of text messages, and would allow my to "bank" those messages for a long time (at least one year after payment)?
I would like to have a second cell phone that I can use to send "help me" type text messages, but I don't want to pay a monthly fee. I also don't want to pay up-front for x number of texts but lose them if I don't use them within 60 days or something.
