My Girlfriend and I just purchased one way tickets to Paris and will be arriving on 12/21. Our general plan is to do 2 nights in Paris, then take a train to Germany for the Christmas Markets, then NYE in Amsterdam.
After some preliminary research, we found out that Cologne has one of the best Christmas markets, but only open till 12/23. Where would be a good place to celebrate Christmas Eve and what would be some good stops from there to Amsterdam?
