My wifes 30th is coming up and were heading to LA for 5 days, she wants to do both Disney parks and universal, Santa Monica Pier, Hollywood etc the super touristy things
Originally we had planned to stay in the anaheim area but the more I think about it the more I think that really only helps for Disney, we fly into LAX so was thinking maybe of staying somewhere more central there for the first 2-3 days then Anaheim for the last couple but I'm not sure where to stay (worried whats safe out there, was thinking maybe beverly hills or something?)
Advice appreciated, were planning on renting a car (either for all or part of the trip depending on ease/cost of getting around in each area)
