Hey everyone. I posted on this sub a couple days ago- I am going to be in Costa Rica for 8 days in January. We have decided it is probably best to rent a car since we will be heading to the Arenal area,to Monteverde then to Manuel Antonio. Renting a 4x4 is ridiculously expensive, and I would really like to stay within the budget of renting a regular Sedan car. Is this possible? After doing some research, it seems like the drive La Fortuna to Monteverde is a lot of dirt road and I wouldn't want anything to happen. If anyone has any advice/thoughts please let me know! Thanks :)
