9 Days in Portugal

Trying to plan a trip to Portugal next month and needed some help trying to plan it. I found a great deal on a flight into Porto and leaving Faro.

I wanted to do 3 days in Porto, 3 days in Lisbon and 3 days in Faro.

Is this doable or is it too rushed? Should I spend more/less time in any of those cities?

Also thought about renting a car and driving down the coast to each city, good idea? Or should I take alternate transportation.

Also, anyone have any cool tips or must sees in Portugal?
