I’ve got a one way ticket to Nepal, off next week! I’m going with an empty backpack and a vague itinerary - any words of advice?

Like the title says! I’m staying with a lovely family I met on Workaway for a while (not sure how long) and I have some places on my checklist. Anyone who’s been to Nepal have some friendly words of advice? Travel points, the best trails? I’m a good hiker but nothing too major. I’m hoping to buy some good cheap(er than here) boots for walking, thermals, clothes all out there! Travelling as light as I can on the flights as I didn’t book checked baggage. What do you guys think?? I’m so excited!!
