Italy Itinerary Help

Hi everyone, hopefully my family would be travelling to Italy in early to late December for 19-20 nights. (roughly 6/7 Dec to 25/26 Dec) Looking for some travel advice and would greatly appreciate feedback on our current itinerary, nothing set in stone yet.

Day 1 Afternoon: Land in Milan

Day 2: Milan

Day 3: Day trip to Lake Como

Day 4: Day trip to Bergamo

Day 5: To the Dolomites (either staying in Bolzano or Castelrotto)

Day 6: Dolomites

Day 7: Dolomites

Day 8: To Venice

Day 9: Venice

Day 10: To Bologna and explore Bologna

Day 11: Day trip to Parma

Day 12: To Florence

Day 13: Florence

Day 14: Day trips to Pisa and Lucca

Day 15: To Sienna (same evening short trip to San Gimignano)

Day 16: Day trips to Val d'Orcia and vineyards tour (maybe Montepulciano or Montalcino)

Day 17: To Rome

Day 18: Rome

Day 19: A bit of Rome and take the train back to Milan to fly back home

A few questions;

1) Should I do Naples, Sorrento, Positano and Amalfi instead of Dolomites as we have never skied but would like to try and also if we go to Amalfi side, it will be late Dec so how is the weather and views?

2) Should we spend more time in Rome/Como and minus a day trip to Parma or Bergamo?

3) Is Bologna worth staying for a night or is a day trip enough to lightly explore the city and eat?

4) Any other underrated/not so touristy places we should definitely check out?

Would greatly appreciate a response. Thanks to my fellow travelers and hope all of you guys are able to go on that bucket list trip soon!
