What do you think about going back to places you already went to?

I’m going to take 4 months off to travel and thinking of going to places that I have already been to! Life is short and I worked really hard for this. But Is that crazy?

I want to go back to Nepal to do the exact same trek I did before because it was wonderful. I want to go back to Hanoi to visit and chill in the city and stay at the same hotel. Or I want to go back to Amsterdam to a music festival I have been to in the past.

I’ve traveled a lot but there are many places I’ve never been to (South America, Africa, Eastern Europe, Middle East, US). I know I should go and discover new places but what brings me joy is really going back to the places I loved.

I even ashamed to tell my friends and family my travel plans because I fear they will judge me and think I’m crazy to do the same things again and basically wasting my hard earned money ?

What do you think? Do you always travel to new places?
