So for nearly all my life one of my top destinations that I’ve wanted to get to is Bali. For me it looks perfect for what I like in travel. Warm weather, beautiful nature, beaches, affordability and adventure. So I’ve been sold on it for a long time and always had a desire to go.
However I’ve constantly seen posts on here and other travel related sites about all the negatives of Bali and the fact you should avoid it. From what I’ve seen online people say it’s over crowded, dirty, unauthentic and has rude tourists.
Has anyone been recently to comment about this? I’ve never been to Southeast Asia and if I’m spending lots of money to get down there I don’t want to be disappointed. Especially for a place I’ve constantly looked forward to?
Also I do understand this stuff can be highly subjective and vary drastically based on experience but I want to hear some of your takes on it.
