Hello Everyone! This is my first time posting on Reddit like this, but I am really hoping to get some advice.
It has always been my father's dream to visit the United Kingdom, especially Liverpool, to visit all the sites that played a role in the starting of The Beatles. My dad is my buddy, an incredible man who constantly gives of himself . He has dreamed of this vacation since he was young, but has been discouraged to take it as the years passed. Now that he is retired, we thought he would finally take his dream vacation only to hear him dismissing his desires due to my mom's anxiety of traveling out of the country.
Insert me, his fellow Beatles loving daughter! My husband and I have decided to surprise him with his dream vacation to the United Kingdom with me as his traveling buddy! I am asking him very soon - I hope to offer a trip he simply cannot refuse!
Knowing this, I would love some ideas on how to make this trip as special as possible. Besides Liverpool, I was thinking we would also see London and perhaps Canterbury. We can only be there for a week so our time is limited and I want to make sure that we see some of the most iconic Beatles locations, feel the English culture as much as possible, and see some beautiful and special spots that we just can't find here in the United States.
If you have made it this far in my post, thank you so much for reading! I just really want to make my dad's wishes come true. He is my role model, the most incredible father, and he deserves this.
