1st BIG family vacation :)

We are taking our first BIG family vacation. We do mini vacations monthly so travel isn't new but flying & a lot of other things will be new for our 10yo.

I am a die hard Harry Potter fan, can't do rollercoasters, disabled but not limited to a chair, went when I was 6, big foodie.

My 10yo daughter is a die hard dinosaur fan (100% OBSESSED), refuses to do big rollercoasters, somewhat of a foodie, first timer, not hugely into Disney (more dinosaurs & SpongeBob than anything).

My husband is a Star Wars fan, loves Disney movies, a very picky eater, might do a slower coaster, first timer.

We like to go slow & enjoy everything on our trips so we will also be staying near some family in Punta Gorda from 9/7/22 to 9/11/22. We have booked a rental car for the entire trip because we don't want to worry about being without a car. We fly into Orlando on 9/7 at about 5pm & then fly back home on 9/19 at 6pm. Here's our planned schedule so far: 9/7 - arrive 5pm, rental car. Drive to Punta Gorda 9/8 to 9/10 - family beach or boat days 9/11 - drive to Orlando, check into Hard Rock, explore resort 9/12 - Jurassic World & rest of Universal 9/13 - Harry Potter & rest of Universal 9/14 - check out of Universal, swim, enjoy Universal. Check into Pop Century & explore resort 9/15 - Epcot, food & wine festival 9/16 - Hollywood Studios 9/17 - Animal Kingdom (we are all REALLY looking forward to this park) 9/18 - resort/relax day. 4pm Mickey's NSSHP till close. 9/19 - explore Orlando, flight doesn't leave until 6pm.

I'm looking for all the advice, do's & don'ts, discounts to look for, what not/to pack, opinions, anything you have to say about our trip ♡
