About to travel internationally in less than 12 hours and just realized son's birthday is incorrect on his passport
So it's my own fault. We got passports for our two kids earlier this year, and we're about to on our first international trip (USA to the Dominican Republic) in a few hours. We just realized that the infant has his birthday wrong. It's listed the same as his brother's.
Whenever we try to check in online for our flight it gives us a generic error message for him that just says "please try again later" while the other four in our family can check in online just fine.
Obviously we're not getting a new passport in the next few hours. If the airline asks, I'm tempted just to say we accidentally chose the wrong birthday for him when we booked the tickets, then worrying about getting a corrected passport once we get back.
What's the best course of action here?
Edit: he isn't a lap infant, he has his own seat
