Currently traveling around India right now. I've stayed in hostels a few times over the years but not that much.
The last three hostels I've stayed at here in India, I've always been given the top bunk. Now i don't really care, except for one fact. Every night (like 7 nights across 3 hostels), when I go to bed, the person on the bottom bunk has some of their clothes on the rungs of the ladder. Do i step on their clothes? Or ask them to move them? Or hop six feet up onto the bunk without using the ladder. Currently I've been trying to stretch my foot from the bottom to the top rung to avoid the clothing.
