Flying from Seoul (ICN) to Raleigh (RDU) with a stop in YYZ. Both flights are Air Canada, single ticket.
Originally booked the flight with a 1:50hr layover, but just got an email saying that the flight to RDU is now leaving an hour early, leaving me with only 45 minutes. Realistically 30min since they close the door 15min before.
I’ve never stopped by Canada before, but I’m assuming I still need to recheck my bag and go through the security line after immigration.
Air Canada website recommends 1:25hr of connection time for Toronto, but now that’s out the equation.
This flight is already the last flight of the day to RDU, and I would very much prefer not to stay overnight in YYZ.
Not too sure what my options would be.

Should I just suck it up and ask for the next available flight? Will I have to pay a fare difference in this situation? They probably wont pay for accommodation right?

Stretching here, but maybe beg for front row/closer seats for my gf and I at check-in, plead to strangers to let us go first in the plane, immigration, security line, etc., and just run through YYZ hoping we’ll make it somehow.
Any other suggestions would be great.
