How to travel on a very weak passport? How to get an invitation letter for a visa? (''third world'' passports)

Hi

My girlfriend has a bottom tier passport, right right at the bottom. Which is making a planning of a trip near impossible, especially when Venezuela, Bolivia and Swaziland are some of the highlights of her visa free access.

With European / top destinations off the cards, we've shopped around and looked for alternatives, but lot of mid tier destinations like Uzbekistan Bosnia Kyrgyzstan and Georgia are also proving very tricky, as they require a letter of invitation from a citizen or company. Are we missing something here?

How can any toutist possibly have a letter of invitation, as in general - tourists don't know anybody in the country?

Or is this the whole point - to make it near on impossible to visit without a good passport?

If anybody can advise that'd be a massive help, her travel situation is looking very very bleak.
