Hi,
With the Canadian dollars who's worth nothing in the global exchange rate and everything being overprice, it's almost impossible to plan something in advance.
Last year I travelled to Europe for $4k for 3 weeks. Now it will cost me around the same for 1 week in the US... I also wanted to go to Iceland this summer, but flights are almost all booked or overpriced ($1200+ round trip) + a group tour costing 1900 Euro is almost $3k fora single week. It's a tour I really wanted to do for some time, but I guess I have to keep it for later :(
Any fellow Canadians are crying seeing everything increasing in price?
Edit: I think people missed the point of my post. Yes travelling is expensive. My post was about travelling as a Canadian is more expensive than an European or American. And it’s becoming more and more expensive for us.
