I'm 24 years of age and recently graduated from undergrad college. I'm looking for a way to travel and work at the same time, but I don't know where to start looking. I want to be able to travel and move around from country to country, while being able to make money to sustain myself comfortably (if possible). I don't want the lifestyle where I stay in my hometown, work for many months, plan a 2 week trip, go to the trip, and come back home to start over my mundane life cycle and plan a trip again. I looking for a smart solution, not a quick solution. I'm not looking to get myself stranded on some deserted island. I want to travel comfortably and keep myself safe as much as possible.
Here is a dream that I have as an example: I want to live in Japan for 2 to 4 years (or more), rent an apartment their, travel within the country, and then move on to another country for another 2 to 4 years.
What can I do? What should I research? Should I look into being a freelancer? Should I look for job positions within the country I'm interested in traveling too?
I'm currently in a situation where I'm not interested in a career, I just want a job path that can help me sustain myself financially. I not looking to travel rich or extravagant, just comfy and reasonable (again, if possible). I have nothing tying me down at the moment.
I hope what I said is not too unrealistic or far fetch. I'm willing to do all the research and preparations. I just need help and guidance on what to do. Thank you.
