I am traveling to Amsterdam from the US in July and am prescribed medications from my doctor that fall under the Opium Act. Is it necessary to get these medications approved prior to travel? Will I risk having them taken from me at the airport upon arrival? These medications are required for my health. I saw online that I can have a medication certificate signed by my doctor, however, the form is in Dutch and not sure if this is for travel to or from The Netherlands. Any help on this would be appreciated. Thanks!
