Which Caribbean islands to visit?

Hi people,

I'm planning a trip to the Caribbean, with the idea of "hopping" from one island to the other. Let's assume I'd spend 3-4 weeks there. The idea is not to see all of them, but see the most recommended ones.

- Which Caribbean islands are most worth visiting?

- What are the best ways of traveling within the Caribbean? Planes? Ferries?

- Any other tips about this region that you'd give?
