First time solo traveling going to Iceland for a few days- trying to add on 2-3 days of a major European city. Deciding between London, Stockholm, or Copenhagen.

So I(mid 20s male) am doing a solo trip on a budget. I will most likely be in Iceland for 3.5 days in late September but before that, I'd like to spend a bit of time at a mainland European city. Right now it's between the three in the title: London/Stockholm/Copenhagen.

I thought about this a lot. I've actually been to London before but it was very brief, 2 days and it was all spent with family as a tour. I'd like to see London again but I think it'd be overwhelming for a first time given the sheer size of the city and it might just be better with a much longer trip to the UK as a whole. However, walking around London in autumn just appeals to me on a great level, and the chance to visit some nearby areas like Oxford. It's also distinct from the Scando vibe of Iceland, unlike the other two.

Stockholm is really beautiful I heard, but is less compact and with less nightlife than Copenhagen. The advantage of both of these is that it would be a lot easier to cover those in 2-3 days as opposed to London, which is massive. And I'm not necessarily interested in seeing the rest of those two countries atm. Additionally, the fares for flights to these two locations is cheaper, with the return flight from London to my home city just getting more and more expensive since the beginning of the day.

Which of these should I decide on?
