Flying back to the US, forgot to declare coffee & pesto at customs precheck, anything I can do?

I am waiting at my gate for a couple hours and just realized I forgot to declare a bag of coffee and a jar of pesto. Am I gonna get fined? Should I go back and say I made a mistake? (I am in no rush, flight isn’t for a while.
