Is it insensitive to plan a trip to Honolulu in January?

I have been planning this trip for months tbh and I am just about ready to actually book flights (my process is slow - a lot of ppl to coordinate with). But now I fear it’s terribly inappropriate & insensitive. But it is a different island…so I just don’t know. What are others opinions?

Edit: thank you for your kind words! I didn’t want to go on this trip & have locals think I was being cruel. I truly want to visit & immerse myself in their culture & local amenities. I appreciate your feedback 🥰
