I've got an international ticket requiring arrival in Narita and departure onward to the States from Haneda. I land at 6:30AM in Narita and take-off at 11:55AM in Haneda. The ticketing agent assured me it was a doable airport transfer and most advice I've found online agrees, saying if you have at least 4 hours from plane-to-plane you should be fine. This itinerary is all from one booking through one carrier and their code-share airline.
I'll be landing at Terminal 2 Narita leaving from Terminal 3 Haneda. I plan to use the Airport Limousine Bus service to get from Narita to Haneda (https://www.limousinebus.co.jp/guide/en/timetable/) which seems to be the most recommended method. These are the orange and white buses.
If anyone has any general advice about this I'd appreciate it, but some specific things I was wondering about are...
1) Should I do carry-on only to avoid time spent checking in bags or do you think with this time window I can chance it to check bags? I'm aware I'll probably have to collect my bags at Narita and re-check them at Haneda.
2) Any estimates on the time to get through customs/immigration to leave Narita?
3) For anyone who's done this bus from Narita to Haneda, is it pretty easy to figure out where to get a ticket, and where to catch it and get off, for someone with zero Japanese skills and extremely limited Japan travel experience? Any advice for it?
