Where in Europe to travel with older parents who have poor mobility?

We want to plan a family trip (on a budget). My parents have never traveled internationally and are quite nervous about it. They are older and will not be able to walk more than a few blocks at a time or climb a full set of stairs. We were thinking maybe the British Isles (possibly Ireland and/or London) might be relatively more accessible by car. Does anyone have recommendations for destinations that are affordable and enjoyable but accessible to those with this kind of disability? Open to non-European destinations as well. I’ve looked around on the internet but can’t quite find the info I’m looking for.
