I’m going to Vietnam where I plan to stay for 3 months and will stop by the states en-route home. I figured it’d make sense to bring a suitcase as opposed to a backpack considering the trip length but it appears almost everyone online seem to be all about “one bag” packing and my friend who will be joining me for the first 2.5weeks of the trip is also packing light so I’m questioning my choice of luggage here.
Im fine with lugging the suitcase up stairs and paying extra for checked baggage etc but id like some feedback from people who have travelled with a suitcase in Southeast Asia?
