I booked a hotel room on July 21, 2023. After I got off my flight, waiting on an uber to head to the hotel I get a text from the hotel saying my reservation has been canceled due to overbooking. I call the hotel to make sure, and they assure me that I will be refunded. A week goes by and I haven’t been refunded. I message their website and talk to someone on a live chat. We go through everything and she assured me I will be refunded in 3-10 business days. I wait 10 business days. After I am still not refunded, I file a dispute with my credit card on the charge. They give me a credit back on my account, and say they will contact the merchant. Today I see that my account is recharged for this hotel room. I have a dispute letter from my bank, saying they contacted the merchant, and that I recieved the service???? What the actual hell do I do now
