I've been on many flights in my life, but this was a first for me. I flew from Taiwan to Milan yesterday (a 14 hour flight), in an Economy aisle seat and with about 4 hours left in the flight, I woke to a bunch of people and flight attendants crowding down the aisle to a seat a few rows behind me. Eventually, they all cleared out towards the galley in front of me (separating Economy and Business class). Heading up the rear was a couple of people carrying an unconscious man by the arms and legs. They drew the curtains in the galley, and the pilot made an announcement about the man having a medical issue and asking for anyone with medical training. A little while after that, a second announcement came in that we were going to need to divert to Baku
As the plane started to land someone drew back the curtain and left it drawn until well after landing, probably In the rush of trying to help the poor guy, so many of us passengers were able to see the man's head and face and two people trading off performing chest compressions while another squeezed an ambubag. A guy sitting in the front row just behind the galley had the audacity to pull out his phone and snap a picture. Someone finally closed the curtain again, and the medical team on the ground took the man off the plane. From the couple of short news articles i found online afterwards, i don't think the poor guy made it, i think it was a heart attack. We sat on the tarmac for 6-7 hours after that before we were able to continue on to Milan. ,
