I am thinking about going on holiday to the US in a few weeks. I really don't want to go alone but I have asked my friends and no one wants to come with me. I'm 27 now and I've been wanting to go for many years. But if I go alone it means some costs will double like rental cars and hotels although there is a great offer going on right now which would make flights quite cheap. I feel like if I keep waiting for someone to come with me it will be years before I finally go. I am tired of waiting for other people who keep changing their mind
However, what I am really worried about is it being boring by myself. I am quite a social person and it would be much more fun to have someone to go with you to Yosemite and to go to bars and clubs together, something especially for the latter I might end up not doing if I am on my own.
So part of me really wants to wait until someone wants to come with me while another part wants to say fuck it and go on my own.
I don't know if November is a good time to visit anyway, I would be looking to stay in SoCal and see the major cities, and Yosemite park etc. as well. The next time I could go would be maybe in March/early April.
Guess I am not sure what I am looking for but some encouragement would be nice!
