Two parts of flying I enjoy: boarding last and sitting in the back.
Because I’m going to be sitting for quite some time (even the shortest flights tend to take at least 90 minutes from gate to gate), and I usually travel light, why bother boarding first? I’d rather stay inside the terminal and stretch my legs out further before being forced to sit for hours on end. And with not as much luggage, there’s always somewhere for me to put my bags.
The back seats are the best seats. Few people ever visit the back, so there aren’t any wandering bodies around me in the aisles. Plus, statistically speaking, in the highly unlikely event that the unthinkable were to occur, survivability is higher in the back.
