Am I wrong to be annoyed by travel friend’s commentary?

My friend and I are planning to go on a 2 weeks holiday next month to take a break from work. We’re good friends, we normally have a really good time together, though we haven’t been friends for long. My fear is always that whoever I travel with end up being a not-so-great travel companion as this happened to me before and I hated every moment of it. But because she and I got along so well I was thinking we will be having a good time.

We were supposed to go to a different country that we have planned for a month but she has some issues that’s not allowing her to enter the country. Because of that we changed to a different country last minute and only has a week before flying. I genuinely don’t mind this.

I am a very organised person and I understand this can be annoying to some people, so I made this very clear to her. Hey, I’m super organised, I like to have an itinerary, I like to know where I’m going and what I’m doing. If I’m visiting places, I’d like to book in advance yada yada. She told me she understand and that she’s also the same. So okay, great.

However, the planning has been pretty one-sided. I have to research everything on my down, even flights, hotels, places, restaurants. Normally I don’t mind this, but her little commentary is actually annoying me a lot.

  1. When I was booking hotel I asked her to have a look too so that we both agree on it and I don’t get the blame if it’s shit. She agreed. We looked together, we booked. A day after she said to me, “omg why did we even boooook that hotel it kinda look like shit”

  2. We agreed to go 2 weeks. A day after, “omg people are asking me why im going for so long omg why did we even go 2 weeeeks that’s too long ugh”

  3. We agreed on the flight time etc, a day after “omg why did we choose that time??? Its like soooo late though such a bad decision”

  4. We agreed to rent a car and that she will drive as that’s the best way to travel in that particular city. A day after “hmmmm i kinda dont feel like driving tho idk”

I am genuinely already very stressed at planning the itinerary on my own and these little comments sort of…tick me off. Am I overreacting about this? Am I the BAD travel partner?
