I’m selling everything I own, and traveling as much as I can. Need advice as a new traveler.

I’m currently looking at spending a month in every country I can with my US Passport alone. I’m a 24 years old, American Male. I’m planning on starting in Thailand, then branch off from there. I’d imagine flying from country to country when they’re right next to one another would be smart financially. I’m not a big fan of riding in vehicles, but doesn’t mean I won’t do it.

So what would you recommend to me if I was to country hop with a 4K USD monthly budget. And preferring to use planes to travel. My goal is to travel for a whole year, and if possible, depending on how much I’m enjoying a country, may stay longer at one country (for example I could stay for 3 months at the Philippines rather than one month).

This traveling stuff is brand new to me. But I’m tired of being stuck in the US. Just need some pointers in the right direction so I don’t ever get stuck financially or need to go over my monthly budget.
