We returned to our room this afternoon and I noticed that a zip-up fleece sweater I left on a chair was missing. I’m confident it was taken by a hotel staff member with access to guest rooms. I’ve searched everywhere and can’t find it.
I asked at the front desk (framing the question as just checking if housekeeping accidentally took it while cleaning the room) and was told they didn’t. (A bit of a weird response, you’d think they make a show of “checking” at least but anyway). There’s a different person on reception in the mornings with better English so I’ll ask him tomorrow. Would you mention this incident in a hotel review? I think that’s about the extent of what I can do.
