My wife's twin has early onset dementia. She lives about 300 miles from us, and Southwest Airlines offers nonstop service. My wife is concerned about her sister navigating through the airport. Does anyone know if the airlines have someone that can escort someone like this to their proper gate? Or perhaps is a loved one permitted in these cases to escort them to the gate, and pick them up at the gate?
