With so many places to visit and see in the world how do you choose where you want to go?

I guess you could spend days researching places but its ridiculous how big the world is. You could spend a week in Paris and feel like you didn't see it all and oh that was just one city! You forgot all the other cities and countries surrounding in Europe. I know to take it one place at a time, don't rush, be present, see what you want to see but its kind of overwhelming still.
