(29f) Was in Barcelona a couple of weeks ago. While going through the metro station a guy approached me (looked late 20’s, friendly face) and asked me if I had time to go for a coffee with him to chat together and help him learn English?
I politely rejected his offer - he looked slightly awkward and there was nothing more to it, we parted ways.
I haven’t thought much of it until now - could this have been a scam of sorts, and how?
Strangely enough I don’t remember him asking me if I even spoke English to start, just went straight in with the invitation - so odd.
